Ease of doing business (EoDB) rankings for 2016 & 2015, has gone a step further in 2017
and with an impressive implementation score of 99.46% & feedback score of 78.44% is
amongst the Top achiever states of the country (As per the DIPP-World Bank BRAP-17 rankings)

The ranking is in accordance with the detailed assessment undertaken by the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion,

Of the 12 key reform areas listed on the DIPP website, Chhattisgarh achieved 100% implementation in 10 reform areas:
Highlights of Key implemented reforms:
- Online system for “construction permit” in Chhattisgarh has
been adjudged as the ‘Best Practice’ in India (as per BRAP 2016 assessment)
- Single window system for granting construction permits integrated
with external agencies such as Indian Railways, National Monuments Authority (NMA), Airport Authority of India (AAI) etc.
- 1st Commercial Court established in the country in Naya Raipur to expedite commercial cases. New and modern infrastructure
- Introduction of functionality for issuing eSummons in Commercial disputes registered at the Commercial court in Naya Raipur.
Centralised Online portal for providing information on rates/tariffs, making online payment and registration for all applicable fees, levies and taxes related to:
- State Transport department
- State excise department
- Registration fees and Stamp duty
- Electricity duty
- Online system for all Registrations and renewals under the Legal Metrology Act, 2009
- Service can be availed through the Single window system
- Computerised Risk-based allocation of Inspectors for granting permissions
- Online Common application form (CAF) for granting all incentives under the State Industrial policy
- Janmat: Online portal for collecting feedback from industrialists on draft policy and reforms
- Online system for property registration (ePanjiyan) with functionalities for booking online appointments and payment of applicable registration fees
- Online system for “Property Registration” in Chhattisgarh has been adjudged as the ‘Best Practice’ in India (as per BRAP 2017 assessment).
